MY FITNESS JOURNEY

Be your own motivation story

At 13-16 years old I was at my heaviest weight. I had the most unhealthy relationship with food, I use to eat whatever I could find to fill me up, very unhealthy food choices. When entering grade 11 and 12 my eating habits took an opposite turn.

I became obsessed with being skinny! I then started eating less and less. I ate once a day and that was dinner. I ate more or less 600-700 calories a day. I became very skinny and my dad told me I can't go on like this.

After school I started my gym journey, eating more calories and exercising. Overall that improved my well being and that is where everything changed.

I became obsessed with pushing my body to the limits, eating for performance and feeding my body what it needs. Fast forward 2 years, I entered my first body building show and since then I've never looked back.

I am now an IFBB athlete where I compete in body building shows. I have an extreme love and passion for this sport and I will definitely be doing this for as long as my health and body allows it. There is just something about pushing my body and mind to its limits that keeps that fire burning in me!
